LA girl in a Santa Barbara world….

2 Aug

So last weekend, my friends and I decided that we should

pay Santa Barbara a visit.

As you’ll see in the pictures, it was most certainly a beautiful place.

To go along with the beaches to occupy your day time, there are

also a plethora of trendy, little bars/lounges/clubs all on one street to give you plenty

to do after the sun has set.

| My guilty pleasure…snapping pics of myself |

Our first night there, I chose to wear my favorite striped, cropped tee with a little

black mini skirt and some black, patent leather pumps.

Let’s take a look…

That’s all for now…until next time

Officially a West Coast Girl

2 Jul

She’s back!

Finally…after a month long hiatus from blogging, I can say I’ve settled into beautiful California.

I cannot describe how busy I have been with my new job, settling into my place, exploring my new home, and making wonderful new friends.

All in all…it has definitely been a great adventure so far, and I know it will only get better.

To jump start this post,

I’m going to show you in pictures what it’s been like for me thus far.

Before I go any further, let me tell you a little bit about this journey I have decided to take.

I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and have lived there my entire existence.

Since I was a child, I’ve always expressed my creativity in drawing.

As I got older, that path lead to sketching clothes.

Never really deciding on what I wanted to do with my life,

I knew for sure that I wanted to be around fashion.

Growing up in Baltimore, I can say that there weren’t many outlets for that field.

A few months ago, I simply decided to move to California to pursue a career in fashion and make a life change for myself.

I still have a lot to accomplish to get where I want, but I made that important first step.

Hopefully this can serve as inspiration for all of those out there that want more out of life

and think it’s too difficult.

Remember…life will always be difficult, and challenges will always await you.

If you never try, you’ll never know.

Food for thought.

I hope you enjoy these pictures.

Love, Camille

Wednesday’s MOTD

23 May

I know I haven’t posted an OOTD in quite some time now, but I have been

oh so busy organizing my relocation to California.

Having already shipped my car filled with the majority of my clothes,

it’s been somewhat of a challenge to document my day to day style.

One thing that I kept with me…is my makeup lol.

Especially my lipsticks.

Didn’t know how the weather was going to be while my car was in transit,

and didn’t want to take the chance of opening tubes upon tubes of melted lipsticks.

That would have been a sad, sad day!

But anyways, I am glad at this time, I can still keep you up to date with my

different makeup looks.

Hope you enjoy!

Love, Camille

I’m a…Force of Love

15 Apr

Since I have been trying to keep myself from being such a spendthrift, I’ve been missing out

on all the new collections MAC has been releasing.

Seeing this beautiful pink lipstick from the Chenman collection called Force of Love a little too late to buy it at the regular price,

I gave in and decided–with the help of some peer pressure–to go ahead and buy it off of  ebay for

pretty much double the retail price.

It arrived a couple of days ago from Hawaii, and I was simply overcome with excitement.

I gave it a test drive and these pictures are my proof, that it was worth buying.

Take a look for yourself…

How pretty is this packaging…

I used MAC lip pencil in Magenta

Jaw Dropping Accessories…

24 Mar

So I came across an accessory/jewelry site called Charm & Chain.

As their punch line states they have jewelry for every occasion; I browsed their site

and I must agree to that. Now, they have gorgeous, to die for accessories that tend to be a little on the pricey side,

however, there are more than enough reasonably priced pieces that I wouldn’t mind spending on.

Their collection practically left my mouth open in awe.

Here’s a little preview of what they have in store…
